NDT Core Curriculum
Course Description:
This course exposes the individual to the fundamentals of the most common NDT Methods, the certification of inspection personnel, and the various governing bodies as well as the lighting and vision requirements for the inspection personnel and NDT Method being performed. The fundamentals of Base Materials, processes and their associated discontinuities.
Course Objectives:
Basic Knowledge of the Different Methods of Nondestructive Testing
Basic Understanding of NDT Certification and the different Governing Bodies
Requirements of Eyes and Light when Performing NDT Inspections
Basic Knowledge of Materials and Processes
